This guide was put out by the PPOO Highway Association, by 1922 headquartered in St. Joseph, MO. It has the usual
fold-out map of the entire route attached to the back cover. This 1922 routing shows both
San Francisco and Los Angeles as western termini, with a more northerly route through Nevada on the S.F. route
compared to the 1915 map. The eastern route is now north of the National Old Trails Road, giving the PPOO its own path from
New York to Illinois. Also note the new descriptor "The Pershing Transportation Route", a name applied after World War I.
