• Caption: 1924 July Motor Camper & Tourist

This magazine focused on motor touring and camping - a popular activity in the 1920's. It's truly amazing the accessories available for motor camping, like tents that attach to your car, radios that sit on your running boards, and giant picnic baskets. I really like the exhaust manifold cooker on this cover. What a way to travel.

This issue has two articles on the PP-OO. The first article is an overview of the full cross-country route. The second covers the scenic beauty and highway conditions. With section names like "For the Average Man", "Scenes of Grandeur", and "A Well Marked highway" you just know this is the road for you.
